Testimonials

A simple family operation in a quiet, woodsy location. Friendly folks, but mostly a small operation that doesn't include a full-time office person...just be patient! No cable or wifi but otherwise utilities worked fine.

My wife and I have been camping at Saddleback for years. It is a quiet, family friendly place to camp. The owners are very helpful, always make sure everything is running smoothly and strive to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Saddleback is our first choice in NH.

MY HUSBAND AND I JOINED PASSPORT AMERICA IN LATE AUGUST 2010. WE ARE NEW TO THE CAMPING WORLD AND PREVIOUS TO JOINING HAD CAMPED AT SEVERAL LOCATIONS IN CT INCLUDING A KOA. OUR FIRST VENTURE OUTSIDE OUR STATE WAS TO SADDLEBACK CAMPGROUND IN NORTHWOOD NEW HAMPSHIRE. THAT WAS THE BEST DECISION WE COULD HAVE MADE. ITS A SMALL CAMPGROUND BUT INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION IS WHAT YOU GET, IF THAT'S WHAT YOU NEED. NANCY AND LES THE OWNER/MANAGERS RUN A VERY REMARKABLE CAMPGROUND. IT IS CLEAN, QUIET AND AFFORDS MANY OF THE BENEFITS THE LARGER FACILITIES CANNOT PROVIDE. PREVIOUSLY IF THERE WERE OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES, YOU PAID FOR THESE. AT SADDLEBACK YOU COULD ENJOY HORSESHOES, BADMINTON, VOLLEYBALL, SWIMMING, CHILDREN'S SWING SET, JUNGLE GYM AND LONG HANDLED SCOOPERS TO CATCH FROGS FROM THE POND. THEY (NANCY AND LES) PROVIDED US WITH MANY IDEAS ON WHAT WE COULD DO. THEY OFFER SATELLITE TV ON THE PREMISES, BUT UNBEKNOWNST TO US, WE WERE EQUIPPED WITH AN ANTENNAE TO PULL IN TV. LES EVEN SHOWED US HOW TO OPERATE IT AS WELL AS TUTORED US IN THE USE OF OUR AWNING, PUTTING IT UP AND TAKING IT DOWN. IF ALL CAMPGROUNDS ARE LIKE THEIRS, WE COULD NEVER HAVE MADE A BETTER INVESTMENT FOR OUR MONEY. SINCERELY, JEANE AND JOE HOWARD

There are so many Passport America campgrounds that I stay at because I travel from the very tip of the northeast way down to Florida for the job that I do. There is one campground in particular that I stay at frequently when I’m working in New England, Saddleback Campground, located in Northwood, NH near Concord. From the first time I checked in several years ago to just this week, Nancy and Les, the owners couldn’t be more accommodating. Even if the place is booked, they will find a spot for me..this was from the very start! The place is clean, quiet and talk about a New England postcard setting. I just want to say my hat is off to these people..they made a friend and a continued customer! I also want to thank the people at Passport America for offering this service..it has paid for itself the first week I used it..thanks!
