    Seboomook Wilderness Campground is located on the shore of Maine's largest lake, Moosehead Lake. There are campsites along the shoreline with sandy or with rocky beach front. Spectacular views of the Katahdin Mountain range and regular sightings of deer and moose. 20 total RV sites, can accommodate any size RV, 30 amp, water, partial hookups, dump station, Wi-Fi, fire rings, store, propane, gas, playground, ATV, nature watching, boat ramp, boating, canoeing, fishing.
    Important Campground Notes
    Open May-Nov. PA valid 5 nights. PA not valid during holiday weekends. Please call ahead to check availability. PA not valid on seasonal sites. This is a remote campground. Electricity is available during hours generator is in operation: 5:30-8AM; 11:30AM-12:30PM; 2-7:15PM; 10-10:30PM and 2-2:30AM. Office hours 8AM-6PM. Credit cards accepted. Pets welcome. *Rates: No hook-up, Waterfront $25. Electric/Water Waterfront: $30. Rates are for 2 adults, children under 13 are free; extra adults are $5 each per day.
    Located 50 miles from Greenville. Traveling N on I-95, take EX 39 in Newport. Go L off the exit ramp. Go N on Routes 7, 11, 23 then L on to Route 6 & 15 to Rockwood. In Rockwood, watch for Moose River on R. Cross Moose River bridge onto the dirt road, Bear R on that main road. Do not take any of the many side roads. Go 32 miles to the campground. Drive until you reach a stop sign & take a R. Stay on that road the rest of the way (13 miles). Please drive with caution! There are many logging trucks & moose on these roads!
