Colorado Landing RV Park

Colorado Landing RV Park, La Grange, TX -- Location. Location. Location. This park is located near the Colorado river. It offers a very peaceful and quiet setting. The owners are really friendly. It's a 10-minute healthy walk to the lovely downtown area of La Grange. You can't beat the location. Basic cable is good. Wifi was clocked at 19mps (although will slow down with more users). Park is well-maintained with generous spaces, abundant trees and nice amenities. PA does not allow for premium pull-through sites, but I didn't mind a back in site. It was really nice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Blaze-In-Saddle RV Park

Blaze-In-Saddle RV Park , Tucumcari, NM -- This is one of the best RV parks I have stay in this year. Route: Maine to Florida, to Maine, to Ohio, to Tucumcari to Wisconsin. The weather was so cold in Wisconsin I came,,, 1099 miles back to Blaze-N-Saddle. I doubt I leave for a long time. The owners are so wonderful and accommodating. I would suggest if you're near Tucumcari. Stop in and stay for a night or a while.

Bass Haven Campground

Bass Haven Campground, Defuniak Springs, FL -- This campground has been an unexpected surprise as it is small and most guests are longer term. When I called to make a reservation a few days before my need the manager was very helpful and friendly. She had one available spot for my weeks stay and it was all set... She called me later that day to say that the agreed upon spot was unfortunately not going to be available. I was disappointed but understood. She then told me that she had another vacancy for me as the previous travelers had left that morning. This new spot was on the edge of the campground, was a pull through, and offered me a lake side location and much privacy. The campground is quiet; the nearby restrooms and showers are spotlessly clean with ample hot water; very rustic little place with tall southern pines throughout; good cell phone coverage; shopping within 6 miles for supplies; the grounds are well kept and neat. This spot did not have a sewer hookup but did have good water and electric hookups and with the shower so near it has not been an inconvenience with no sewer hookup. Nice place and it will go in my list of favorites.

Wilderness RV Park

Wilderness RV Park, Robertsdale, AL -- I stayed for a week over Christmas while traveling along the gulf coast. Easy access off of I10. Very nice place with very friendly staff and campers. Rustic and quiet setting. The laundry room, though small (2 washers/2 dryers), was clean and not overpriced and did a very nice job on laundry. While here I participated in a fantastic Christmas potluck with ham and smoked turkey provided by the park and prepared by one of their regulars. There are quite a few seasonal campers but they had a nice area for travelers with grassy pull through spots some 30A and some 50A. I certainly would stay here again. Liked it.

Blaze-In-Saddle RV Park

Blaze-In-Saddle RV Park , Tucumcari, NM -- Blaze-in-Saddle RV park in Tecumcari, NM was a great place to stay. Since it has been under new ownership they are doing a good job. Sites are level, friendly helpful staff, quiet park, easy access. Would highly recommend this RV park.

Sun Valley RV Resort

Sun Valley RV Resort, Sun Valley, AZ -- We stayed her for 2 weeks in our travel trailer. We had full hook ups and there was room for our RV, truck and a small pen for our dogs. This park has several buildings in pretty bad shape, but the office is very nice with a store, public area, restrooms and laundry. There is a dog run and plenty of area to walk dogs. While there is a lot of highway noise - like many RV parks, we felt safe. The staff is great and we would stay here again. Very close to the National Park, Holbrook and Winslow.

Colonial Pines Campground At Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center

Colonial Pines Campground At Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center, Toano, VA -- We have stayed at Colonial Pines Campground At Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center, Williamsburg, Virginia several times and highly recommend it. We were nervous about staying here at first because we aren't religious but a quick phone call allayed any worries on that account. The staff is friendly & helpful and the sites are spacious and generally well maintained. It's located near historic Williamsburg and an hour or so from both Richmond and Hampton Roads. Despite being less than 10 minutes from I-64, the campground is secluded and private. The showers are pretty good, the water tastes good, the sewers work fine, and we've never had an issue with electricity. In fact, the only real complaint we have is the campsite driveway entrances being a bit muddy. This is a nice small campground and if you're going to visit the Williamsburg area you should definitely consider staying here.

Ajax Country Livin' At I-49 RV Park

Ajax Country Livin' At I-49 RV Park, Marthaville, LA -- We stayed at this campground for one night traveling from Lafayette, LA to Branson, MO. Because we liked it so much we stayed for one night on return trip. Our friends traveling in their rv also stayed both night. Denise and David, the owners of the park were very friendly and were a pleasure to talk with. the park was very clean and well maintain. The park is just off of I-49. It was and easy on and off with our fifth wheel rvs. They have numerous 30 amp full hookups with several 50 amp sights. We took advantage of the 50 amp sites. It is a quiet park. That is just the way we like it. We definitely be returning to this park in the future. Thanks David and Denise.

Mossy Oaks RV Park And Campground

Mossy Oaks RV Park And Campground, Jesup, GA -- We stayed one night as a layover and the hospitality was great. Checking in was a breeze. Mr. Spell led us to our spot and ensured it met our needs. The campground itself is sand packed hard enough to easily support our leveling jacks without blocks under them. The showers were clean with plenty of hotwater. It's far enough away from Savannah to be out in the country, but access to it is pretty easy. If we come by this way again we wouldn't hesitate to stay.

Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post

Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post, Albuquerque, NM -- This is a very nice, clean & well maintained RV Park. All gravel lot - with a just little space between sites - but enough length for our RV & tow vehicle. All utilities worked well. Lots of dog walking area. 2 night limit on PA discount. Large store & laundry/showers. I would stay here again.

Cawthon Park

Cawthon Park, Trinidad, CO -- Trinidad is a cozy community in the hills. This campground is quite crowded with a mix of older park models and RVs. All utilities worked good. Site was gravel and fairly level - but absolutely no room left after our rig & tow vehicle. It appeared that most people lived here. It was surprisingly quiet at night with all the people and dogs. We had planned to stay longer but it was too crowded for our taste. Roads were ok for our 21' travel trailer, but big rigs would probably have problems navigating the turns. Management was very nice.

Deerfield Beach Campground

Deerfield Beach Campground, Deerfield, KS -- This is bare basics campground in a field between farms. All utilities worked fine. Sites were grass & gravel. Fairly level. Roads are a little rough and entire place could use a some TLC. Honor box payment system. Owner was very nice. It appears that several people live here. Didn't see a beach, but the pond was nice. We stayed 4 nights and felt safe. Good place to set down at an inexpensive rate.

Malheur County Fairgrounds

Malheur County Fairgrounds, Ontario, OR -- Great little spot to stay the night if you're traveling down the Interstate 84. This site is only a few minutes from the interstate. It's quiet with a nice level grassy paddock which to park your RV. Electric hookups provided and there is a free dump station just outside the fence. Would stay here again for the price. They honor Passport America for $15 a night (normally $30 per night) Dropbox for after hours arrival.

Hillside Family Campground, Cochran, GA -- Great Park - lots of room. Easy in/out. Managers Joy & Jeff are very welcoming and helpful. Bella enjoyed the new dog park. It would be nice to have a few lounge chairs at the pool for sunbathing. We will stay here again when in the area.

Harbortown RV Resort

Harbortown RV Resort, Monroe, MI -- We stayed at Harbortown for 3 days in a 40ft 5th wheel. This is one of nicest parks I've ever been to. It's a resort, not a campground. It's extremely well kept. As campers left, staff would mow grass, run weed eater, clean out firepits, etc. Staff was also friendly. Was easy to get to from 75. Sites are large, concrete, level. Only neg I can think of, you can hear traffic from 75, trains going by, kept wife awake, it was Oct, it was hot, pool was shut down, not much to do. Be nice if they had free miniature golf at least. Park is expensive, pull thru was $3.00 more. If you don't clean up after your pet they charge $50 if they have to do it. If you have a tent they want it moved every 2 days so it doesn't kill the grass, also, no rugs for same reason.

Yellowstone Golf Resort at Aspen Acres RV Park

Yellowstone Golf Resort at Aspen Acres RV Park, Ashton, ID -- Very quiet, peaceful RV park in the middle of aspen trees. The sites are nicely spaced so we did not feel squeezed in like other parks. Very nice friendly folks that manage the place. We definitely will stay there again if we are in the area.

Cypress Landing RV Park

Cypress Landing RV Park, Dozier, AL -- Great place Great people. I don't think I have ever had such great treatment. While I was there they had a shrimp boil. I think it was more for employees but I happened to walk in and was invited to join in....no ordered to join in on the feast. The fishing is great also and they have their own private dock with fuel so bring your boat and stay a while. I'm from Colorado and have stayed at many RV sites around the country and this one is the best. I will be back.

Creekside RV Park

Creekside RV Park, Chappell, NE -- Park and facilities are extremely well maintained. Restrooms and showers are new, clean and spacious, and well-lit. Only 2 block walk to town with good restaurants (I recommend the Rusty Bucket, a bar/grill with excellent food, large menu selection, and TVs to watch sports). I don't see how they can do this for such a low rate but I'll be stopping by every time I'm in the area.

Welcome Station RV Park, Wells, NV -- Wife and I stayed here for just one night. Everyone was super friendly, they even offered extra blocks for leveling if needed. Park is very well maintained. Shady Haven RV Park and Mini Storage

Shady Haven RV Park and Mini Storage, Bakersfield, CA -- We have been here since June 1, 2018. Staff is very pleasant and resourceful. They have made numerous improvements. Train tracks nearby but not noticeable. We have been enjoying our stay and would highly recommend this place to stay, as the improve ments are very nice additions to the pool and rv parking spaces. And more improvements are underway. Very nice and friendly park.

Jenny Ridge Venue & RV Park

Jenny Ridge Venue & RV Park, Folkston, GA -- Have stayed at this RV park on several occasions in the last couple of months. This is a new park, not much there in the way of entertainment. The park is new and has very well kept. The owners are fantastic and there for you to help you In anyway that they can. Spaces are large and open. You have a dog area, laundry, propane gas and a dumpster on site. Full hookups, 50 and 30 amp. This is a small town, however there are services about two miles down the road where you can shop and eat out. This is a town where there is a place where freight trains go through and you can watch them in an area set out for that purpose. A train museum is nearby and a great free place to visit. I Highly recommend that you stop there and enjoy your self.

Benton RV Park & Campground, Fort Benton, MT -- Fort Benton, Montana. This is our second visit to Fort Benton RV Park. It had been 3 years since we were there last. There are new owners. They are very personable, hard workers, kind, accommodating and very professional. If possible, request "THE BAT CAVE", There is a clear shot at the sky for Dish and the trees protect the rig from the suns RAYS. Fort Benton is a great place to visit. There is a walking bridge over thew Missouri, Lewis and Clark's "Decision Point" and several Museums as well as a Fort. Remember to request the Bat Cave!

Powder River Campground & Cabins, Kaycee, WY -- This is a treasure in the middle of a long journey. The owner, Danette, was gracious and very hospitable. This campground is so clean and convenient. It is a quiet refuge with absolutely no highway noise. Campground is gravel but level with very large pull through and back in sights. Right along the river with tent sights; with cabins and showers. Love, Love this place. Stayed here one night going to Montana for a wedding AND stayed here one night going back through on the way home. Highly recommend this campground!!!!

Matagorda Bay Nature and RV Park

Matagorda Bay Nature and RV Park , Matagorda, TX -- Beautiful park. LCRA park on the Colorado River that empties into the bay. Beautiful lighted pier and great fishing. Sites are very level, grass is professionally mowed, and there are mosquito defense systems in place. LCRA employees are very friendly and helpful. One of our best places to camp on the Texas Gulf Coast. Also nice restaurants in Matagorda, Tx.

Benchmark Coach & RV Park

Benchmark Coach & RV Park, Meridian, MS -- Can’t tell you how much I liked and appreciated The Benchmark Coach and RV Park in Meridian, MS. The sites are set up beautifully as pull-throughs, level, and with all utilities in the perfect spots. There are just the basics provided, which is all I want in an RV Park. I don’t want a resort, I don’t want a pool, I don’t want a babysitter for kids, I just want a place to hook up my utilities and spend one or two nights. This park met my needs exactly, and the PA price made it perfect!

Bass Lake RV Campground

Bass Lake RV Campground, Dillon, SC -- We've stayed at this campground several times over the past year. Easy access off I-95. We're only looking for one night at a time on the way to and from Florida, and it's been perfect for this. Solid power hookup. Water. Bathhouse is in good condition and works well. Pretty little lake too. Have always been greeted with a smile and the PA rate is honored consistently. Recommend.

Triple Creek RV Music Park

Triple Creek RV Music Park, Woodville, TX -- My wife Cathy and I went to Triple Creek for eight days in June. We were welcomed with open arms and treated like life long family. We have never been here before but were treated like family. They have some long term residents there that also treated us like family. We will definitely be going back. Mark and Karen were superb hosts. About five of the eight days we were there it rained. This place is located about 2.5 miles from the paved highway on a dirt road. The road got muddy as expected with four inches of rain, but never had a problem getting in or out. Quiet, peaceful, tranquil, is about the only way to describe this place. Just the sounds of the wildlife is all you hear. Very very nice place and owners.

Three Flags RV Park

Three Flags RV Park, Black Hawk, SD -- What a great campground! Located close to all the great attractions of this area, we did Mt. Rushmore, Custer and Crazy Horse Memorial today! The staff is fantastic, extremely helpful. Even offering to let our dog out for potty breaks if we needed to leave him in the RV. The grounds are clean and well maintained and the grass is expertly groomed. You can’t beat the price, location and amenities. We stayed here in July, 2018. Chuck, Chris and Benji.

Sherwood Forest RV Resort

Sherwood Forest RV Resort, Palm Harbor, FL -- We were here April 2018 with our C class. We upgraded to be on the beautiful lake, home of a large swan and numerous other water fowl. Extremely friendly, clean, and nice campground. We had a large shaded, level lot on the lake. The heated pool was very nice. Laundry between bath rooms. Do not miss going to Tarpon Springs. Great food, shopping and of course the sponge docks. We will return here.

The Old Pavilion RV Park

The Old Pavilion RV Park, Keaton Beach, FL -- We were here May 2018 after all the hurricane damage. We had a front row site on the gulf but it was look only. They had a nice new deck over the water and sunsets were fantastic. The only non-rocky area was at Keaton Beach at the end of the block out of the campground. They do not have a bath house or bathrooms. They washed away with the house of the lady running the place. They do have a place to launch your boat. The marina across the street is gone but they are rebuilding.

Indian Creek RV Resort, A Sun RV Resort

Indian Creek RV Resort, A Sun RV Resort, Fort Myers Beach, FL -- We were here April 2018 in our 22' C Class. This campground is beautiful and huge. They have a lot of lakes. We upgraded to be on a lake. If you use PA you are put off to the side. This was off season for them so the place was almost empty. They have a large amount of park homes and snow birds. We had a very nice large campsite. We tried both heated pools and both laundry mats. Everyone that worked there was very helpful. Fantastic miniature golf course right out front.

Winter Quarters Manatee, An Encore Resort

Winter Quarters Manatee, An Encore Resort, Bradenton, FL -- We were here May 2018. This is a beautiful quiet campground with a huge lake. We paid extra to be on the lake and really enjoyed the birds. We did not pay $4 for resort fee but everything was locked up except the pools. They seem to cater to snowbirds so we were there in the off seasons. Very nice and clean bathrooms and laundry. We had a very large level site. We were around all the park homes and most of the owners had left for the summer. We were about 30 minute drive from the best beach on the gulf, Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island. Also the Sand Dune restaurant on that island is fantastic but pricey. We will return here.
