New Frontier RV Park

New Frontier RV Park, Winnemucca, NV -- Wow. This place is one of the best that PA offers. My total bill with tax was $11.20. It's the cheapest I've ever paid. And the park is gorgeous. Very nicely laid out sites. Young but growing shade trees. Level gravel sites. Very generous cable package. Nice office/clubhouse. Great location near freeway but away from freeway noise. Wifi is a bit slow but that's about the only negative I can think of. You've got to check out this place!

Quiet Texas RV Park

Quiet Texas RV Park, Hondo, TX -- Beautiful park BUT no shower or restrooms. All the other facilities are first rate,

Benson I-10 RV Park

Benson I-10 RV Park, Benson, AZ -- When we checked out this morning, I promised to write and let PA know what a pleasure it was to have stayed here. The park is close to freeway, and there is a Denny's across the street, and other restaurants a few blocks away. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. We have a 36 foot RV, a small SUV and a pick-up truck pulling a SeaDoo trailer. They found us a site that easily accommodated all our vehicles, and even escorted and helped to direct us into the space. The entire park is well kept, very clean, and very comfortable. The bathrooms/showers are exceedingly clean and roomy. The laundry room was spotless, and had four washers and dryers, so we could do everything at the same time. Yes, a train went by, but horn didn't bother anyone. We were very happy we chose to stay here.

Sunset RV Park and Cabins

Sunset RV Park and Cabins, Woodville, TX -- A simple small campground with a great camp host. Full hookups $15. Good water pressure/electric . Grass, right off main road, easy in/out. Beautiful pond with horses in back. Road noise a 5 out of 10. Thank you for a great overnight stay.

Catherine Horrocks

Walnut Meadow RV Park

Walnut Meadow RV Park, Berea, KY -- Nice, pleasant campground. Very friendly & concerned owners. Bathrooms could have been a tad cleaner, but overall very nice stay overnight.

Soliel du'Coeur Park

Soliel du'Coeur Park, Bandera, TX -- We have come here for winters the last three years. Wish we had known about this park before then because stayed in city of bandera park that was not half as nice. Beautiful views and very quiet. Love to feed the deer each night. Debi the owner is the most helpful and accommodating host than any other PA park we have been in. It’s a great place to sit around a campfire and enjoy the peace and quiet. Very highly recommend this park.

Angel Fire RV Resort

Angel Fire RV Resort, Angel Fire, NM -- Very lovely new resort. Level concrete slabs. Nicely laid out utilities. Wifi is 10mps. Cable is hi res. Unfortunately at the time of this writing I could not get a Verizon signal (not even roaming) but that's not their fault. I was able to make calls through the high speed wifi. Location is really beautiful. Nice clubhouses. I did indeed try the hot tub on a cold winter day and it was just the right temp with a nearby indoor heated shower area that made the short walk from the tub bearable. With PA the price is definitely right. You are getting a lot of service for this price.

Gator Grounds RV Resort

Gator Grounds RV Resort, Bunkie, LA -- We were at the campground on Feb. 25 & 26 2019. The grounds and campsite were clean and beautiful! Staff was wonderful ! Highly recommend this park to anyone coming to this area. We will stop here again if in the area!!!

Kiva RV Park & Horse Motel

Kiva RV Park & Horse Motel, Bernardo, NM -- I had an enjoyable stay here. Level lots. Decent hookups. Rustic, but very well-maintained. They even cleaned up all of the tumbleweeds twice daily while I was there. Super friendly staff. Wifi is slow, but works for general surfing and possibly even low res streaming. They do have upgraded wifi you can pay for. Price is right for what you get. Two last notes: If you are looking for a park near restaurants and shopping, this is not your choice. It's remote. Right off the freeway (noise wasn't too bad in my opinion) but otherwise remote. Finally this is a pro-gun place. If guns bother you, you might look elsewhere.

Angel Fire RV Resort

Angel Fire RV Resort, Angel Fire, NM -- We finally got the chance to use our Passport America membership and it paid off with Angel Fire RV Resort. This park is close to the slopes, has a friendly, attentive staff, and was laid out well with plenty of room around our camper. We didn't use it (being well into the negatives and all), but we were located close to the small clubhouse that included laundry facilities and a hot tub. They even offered a catered on-site event for New Years and shuttle service to the slopes for the fireworks, although the shuttles didn't show in time (it wasn't the park's fault). We still enjoyed watching the show from afar on the back porch of the lodge around a fire. This was our first attempt at true winter camping and Angel Fire RV Resort made it fairly easy with daily plows and pull-through access. We didn't get to see the landscaping and whatnot due to everything being covered in snow, but it was beautiful nonetheless. We were able to stay Dec 31st through Jan 5th, and the last four days were accepted under the PA membership (we used a different club for a small first day discount). Half off this amazing RV resort made the trip so much more affordable and we'll be making this a regular thing, maybe even a family tradition. I just noticed our Spring Break is within the accepted period as well, so we'll try to make a second trip this year! Thank you to Angel Fire RV Resort for being such a wonderful host!

Desert Willow RV Park

Desert Willow RV Park, Van Horn, TX -- What's not to like? The Passport America rate was $13.50 and .50 cents more for using a credit card. So, I paid a grand total of $14 for a large, level space with full hook-ups, easy access from I-10, a nice and warm (it was freezing outside!) tile restroom, and a whopping 52(!) Cable channels to help pass a cold evening. I've paid triple that and not received half as much. The manager was nice and laid back. They even had a small dog run. Lazy customers had not picked up after their dogs, ruining a good thing, but, hey, I didn't expect a dog run anyway. I always chuckle when people stay beside a train track and then complain about the train noise, especially in the west where the railroad is everywhere. Same goes for interstate noise. You can't have it both ways - stay near I-10, easy on & easy off, then gripe about road noise. Actually, we couldn't hear any Interstate noise. My wife and I find trains soothing, so the frequent trains were a non-issue for us.

Historic Prude Ranch

Historic Prude Ranch, Fort Davis, TX -- This is a retreat and a real treat. Very quiet location up in the mountains. Peaceful. Crisp air. Super friendly ranch dogs to greet you. I came in the winter and stayed in the back RV area which is on more of a slope than the front, but is also quieter. Price is great. Utilities work fine. Wifi fast enough to stream low res. No cable but that's kind of the point. Get away from tech and do all of the wonderful activities here: Archery, rifle shooting, horseback rides, obstacle course and the list goes on. Definitely worth the visit.

Michael Miller

Buzzard Roost RV Campground

Buzzard Roost RV Campground, Del Rio, TX -- Super friendly owner. Nice beyond the call of duty. Sites are level and most have trees. Utilities are fine. Location is good. Highway noise was bearable for me. Wifi is slow and goes out occasionally, but is good enough for basic surfing but not for streaming. Cable TV only for long-term residents. Some of the permanent residents don't really keep up outer appearances and along with some overgrown weeds the place looks a bit run down. But I still had an enjoyable stay.

Michael Miller

Angels in Goliad RV Park

Angels in Goliad RV Park, Goliad, TX -- Really easy in and out for big rigs. This camp ground is set back from the road so you don't hear the road noise. The owner is super friendly and the park is very clean. We stayed here just for one night passing through and it was great. Goliad has a lot of history in it. If you have the time to spend and see the parks, the town square, and learn a little, it is a great place to do it from.

Judith Laplante

Braunig Lake RV Resort

Braunig Lake RV Resort, San Antonio, TX -- Friendly folks. Decent utilities. Sites have concrete pads and are mostly level, but not perfectly level. Sites are rather close to one another. Location is very convenient and mostly pleasant (freeway noise is not that bad). Cable is low res, but has a decent lineup. Internet is slow but usable for non-streaming. I was allowed to wash my rig on site for an extra $5. Price is reasonable. I would likely stay here again.

Oasis Palms RV Park

Oasis Palms RV Park, Oasis / Thermal, CA -- We stayed two weeks January and then moved to Desert Hot Springs for a month. We want to go back to Oasis after Desert Hot Springs because there is no equal. Mike and the crew are wonderful, relaxed rules, great pool and jacuzzi and showers plus laundry. Definitely love the crowd and fire pit every afternoon.

Tom Zwart

Flag City RV Resort

Flag City RV Resort, Lodi, CA -- Flag city is friendly clean large park. Huge dog run, clean pool and jacuzzi. All paved so no mud, great laundry room as well.

Soliel du'Coeur Park

Soliel du'Coeur Park, Bandera, TX -- You really should check out this place if you are looking for a peaceful stay at a really low price. I would describe this as a Mom and Pop establishment. No clubhouse or pool, but level sites, decent hookups, wifi that is streamable (it helps that the park is small so very few others use the same band), a lovely view of Bandera and regular visits from some deer friends. I am now kicking myself that I booked another park after my two days here. I would have gladly spent more time here.

By The River RV Park & Campground

By The River RV Park & Campground, Kerrville, TX -- This RV park really allows you to feel close to nature. Birds constantly singing, turtles and other critters in the Guadalupe. Friendly folks. Decent price. Level lots. Cable TV is extremely limited to 12 channels and those are low res and also not a clear signal. Wifi clocks in at a meager 1.5 mps. Utility posts are a clutter and every other site needs to pass the utilities under the rig. Otherwise this place is very peaceful and relaxing and yet close enough to any shopping or gas or other necessities. I recommend a peaceful stay here.

Michael Miller

Hidden Valley RV Park

Hidden Valley RV Park, San Antonio / Von Ormy, TX -- Hidden Valley RV park, San Antonio Tx. This was our first time stay at Hidden Valley RV Park. Teri the Park Manager met us at the gate and welcomed us in. The RV park is easy to get to and very secluded. This place was a great place to stay and when we're in the area we will definitely stay here again.

Jim Wroblewski

Dwayne's Mountain View RV Park

Dwayne's Mountain View RV Park, Bowie, AZ -- Spent many times there over the last ten years. Campground has changed ownership a couple of times in the last few years but seems the same. Lots of trains going by [about every 15 min]. But we are train buffs so let them come. Wifi is good and the amenties are okay. Great for a overnight stop or in our case 1 to 3 weeks. If you don't have a car then not much to do.

Al Chartier

Colorado Landing RV Park

Colorado Landing RV Park, La Grange, TX -- Location. Location. Location. This park is located near the Colorado river. It offers a very peaceful and quiet setting. The owners are really friendly. It's a 10-minute healthy walk to the lovely downtown area of La Grange. You can't beat the location. Basic cable is good. Wifi was clocked at 19mps (although will slow down with more users). Park is well-maintained with generous spaces, abundant trees and nice amenities. PA does not allow for premium pull-through sites, but I didn't mind a back in site. It was really nice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Michael Miller

Galloping Snail RV Park

Galloping Snail RV Park, Bryan, TX -- Quiet location about 5 miles outside of town. Next to a peaceful horse pasture. Blazing fast wifi (I believe I clocked 37 mps) so I could downstream HD with hardly any interruptions. The game room is unique and top notch. The owners wife has a massage studio next door and was willing to take me in late when she heard I was in pain. Would like to see someone manning the office more and better gravel (or maybe blacktop) on the sites, but otherwise I recommend this place ... if for no other reason than the name!

Michael Miller

Blaze-In-Saddle RV Park

Blaze-In-Saddle RV Park , Tucumcari, NM -- This is one of the best RV parks I have stay in this year. Route: Maine to Florida, to Maine, to Ohio, to Tucumcari to Wisconsin. The weather was so cold in Wisconsin I came,,, 1099 miles back to Blaze-N-Saddle. I doubt I leave for a long time. The owners are so wonderful and accommodating. I would suggest if you're near Tucumcari. Stop in and stay for a night or a while.

Ron Scheu

Desert Willow RV Park

Desert Willow RV Park, Van Horn, TX -- Nicely maintained park with easy access and flat parking. The owner was courteous, friendly and helpful. We stayed for an overnight. Would stay again if needed.

Bass Haven Campground

Bass Haven Campground, Defuniak Springs, FL -- This campground has been an unexpected surprise as it is small and most guests are longer term. When I called to make a reservation a few days before my need the manager was very helpful and friendly. She had one available spot for my weeks stay and it was all set... She called me later that day to say that the agreed upon spot was unfortunately not going to be available. I was disappointed but understood. She then told me that she had another vacancy for me as the previous travelers had left that morning. This new spot was on the edge of the campground, was a pull through, and offered me a lake side location and much privacy. The campground is quiet; the nearby restrooms and showers are spotlessly clean with ample hot water; very rustic little place with tall southern pines throughout; good cell phone coverage; shopping within 6 miles for supplies; the grounds are well kept and neat. This spot did not have a sewer hookup but did have good water and electric hookups and with the shower so near it has not been an inconvenience with no sewer hookup. Nice place and it will go in my list of favorites.

Butterfield RV Resort

Butterfield RV Resort, Benson, AZ -- We stayed at Butterfield RV park for 3 weeks. It was very clean and the people were friendly. The pool was always clean and warm. We would certainly stay there again.

Alligator Park

Alligator Park, Punta Gorda, FL -- Lovely park. We were only stopping for a few days but enjoyed it while we were there. Each site was large and very well kept up. Will certainly stop there again.

Wilderness RV Park

Wilderness RV Park, Robertsdale, AL -- I stayed for a week over Christmas while traveling along the gulf coast. Easy access off of I10. Very nice place with very friendly staff and campers. Rustic and quiet setting. The laundry room, though small (2 washers/2 dryers), was clean and not overpriced and did a very nice job on laundry. While here I participated in a fantastic Christmas potluck with ham and smoked turkey provided by the park and prepared by one of their regulars. There are quite a few seasonal campers but they had a nice area for travelers with grassy pull through spots some 30A and some 50A. I certainly would stay here again. Liked it.

Blaze-In-Saddle RV Park

Blaze-In-Saddle RV Park , Tucumcari, NM -- Blaze-in-Saddle RV park in Tecumcari, NM was a great place to stay. Since it has been under new ownership they are doing a good job. Sites are level, friendly helpful staff, quiet park, easy access. Would highly recommend this RV park.

Sun Valley RV Resort

Sun Valley RV Resort, Sun Valley, AZ -- We stayed her for 2 weeks in our travel trailer. We had full hook ups and there was room for our RV, truck and a small pen for our dogs. This park has several buildings in pretty bad shape, but the office is very nice with a store, public area, restrooms and laundry. There is a dog run and plenty of area to walk dogs. While there is a lot of highway noise - like many RV parks, we felt safe. The staff is great and we would stay here again. Very close to the National Park, Holbrook and Winslow.

Colonial Pines Campground At Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center

Colonial Pines Campground At Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center, Toano, VA -- We have stayed at Colonial Pines Campground At Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center, Williamsburg, Virginia several times and highly recommend it. We were nervous about staying here at first because we aren't religious but a quick phone call allayed any worries on that account. The staff is friendly & helpful and the sites are spacious and generally well maintained. It's located near historic Williamsburg and an hour or so from both Richmond and Hampton Roads. Despite being less than 10 minutes from I-64, the campground is secluded and private. The showers are pretty good, the water tastes good, the sewers work fine, and we've never had an issue with electricity. In fact, the only real complaint we have is the campsite driveway entrances being a bit muddy. This is a nice small campground and if you're going to visit the Williamsburg area you should definitely consider staying here.

Ajax Country Livin' At I-49 RV Park

Ajax Country Livin' At I-49 RV Park, Marthaville, LA -- We stayed at this campground for one night traveling from Lafayette, LA to Branson, MO. Because we liked it so much we stayed for one night on return trip. Our friends traveling in their rv also stayed both night. Denise and David, the owners of the park were very friendly and were a pleasure to talk with. the park was very clean and well maintain. The park is just off of I-49. It was and easy on and off with our fifth wheel rvs. They have numerous 30 amp full hookups with several 50 amp sights. We took advantage of the 50 amp sites. It is a quiet park. That is just the way we like it. We definitely be returning to this park in the future. Thanks David and Denise.

Shady Haven RV Park and Mini Storage

Shady Haven RV Park and Mini Storage, Bakersfield, CA -- Owners are extremely nice. Good security. Nice cement pads. Hope you like the sound of trains; didn't bother us but it did our friends. Very clean and well kept. Beautiful pool and spa Nice fruit trees throughout. We'll be returning.

Mossy Oaks RV Park And Campground

Mossy Oaks RV Park And Campground, Jesup, GA -- We stayed one night as a layover and the hospitality was great. Checking in was a breeze. Mr. Spell led us to our spot and ensured it met our needs. The campground itself is sand packed hard enough to easily support our leveling jacks without blocks under them. The showers were clean with plenty of hotwater. It's far enough away from Savannah to be out in the country, but access to it is pretty easy. If we come by this way again we wouldn't hesitate to stay.

Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post

Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post, Albuquerque, NM -- This is a very nice, clean & well maintained RV Park. All gravel lot - with a just little space between sites - but enough length for our RV & tow vehicle. All utilities worked well. Lots of dog walking area. 2 night limit on PA discount. Large store & laundry/showers. I would stay here again.

Cathy Puccia

Cawthon Park

Cawthon Park, Trinidad, CO -- Trinidad is a cozy community in the hills. This campground is quite crowded with a mix of older park models and RVs. All utilities worked good. Site was gravel and fairly level - but absolutely no room left after our rig & tow vehicle. It appeared that most people lived here. It was surprisingly quiet at night with all the people and dogs. We had planned to stay longer but it was too crowded for our taste. Roads were ok for our 21' travel trailer, but big rigs would probably have problems navigating the turns. Management was very nice.

Cathy Puccia

Deerfield Beach Campground

Deerfield Beach Campground, Deerfield, KS -- This is bare basics campground in a field between farms. All utilities worked fine. Sites were grass & gravel. Fairly level. Roads are a little rough and entire place could use a some TLC. Honor box payment system. Owner was very nice. It appears that several people live here. Didn't see a beach, but the pond was nice. We stayed 4 nights and felt safe. Good place to set down at an inexpensive rate.

Cathy Puccia

El Rancho Lobo RV Park

El Rancho Lobo RV Park, Deming, NM -- We were passing through and received a very warm welcoming. Staff turned on strobe light for us to find them easier (not easy) and was super friendly and helpful. She stayed on the phone with us until we were closer.

Susan Pavesi

Shady Haven RV Park and Mini Storage

Shady Haven RV Park and Mini Storage, Bakersfield, CA -- We highly recommend Shady Haven RV Park. Staff/owners were so friendly and accommodating. Late check in was easy. Great feeling when you're on the road worried about getting locked out. We were welcome any time. Everything was clean and orderly. Will stay there again.

Susan Pavesi

Malheur County Fairgrounds

Malheur County Fairgrounds, Ontario, OR -- Great little spot to stay the night if you're traveling down the Interstate 84. This site is only a few minutes from the interstate. It's quiet with a nice level grassy paddock which to park your RV. Electric hookups provided and there is a free dump station just outside the fence. Would stay here again for the price. They honor Passport America for $15 a night (normally $30 per night) Dropbox for after hours arrival.

Eagle Valley Resort & RV Park

Eagle Valley Resort & RV Park, Pioche, NV -- Remote with exceptional setting. Pleasant people. Walks. Peaches were ripe and exquisite. Friendly old elbow benders and their dogs at bar. First visit an accident, second visit planned. Soon.

David Demello

Hillside Family Campground

Hillside Family Campground, Cochran, GA -- Great Park - lots of room. Easy in/out. Managers Joy & Jeff are very welcoming and helpful. Bella enjoyed the new dog park. It would be nice to have a few lounge chairs at the pool for sunbathing. We will stay here again when in the area.

William Coale

Harbortown RV Resort

Harbortown RV Resort, Monroe, MI -- We stayed at Harbortown for 3 days in a 40ft 5th wheel. This is one of nicest parks I've ever been to. It's a resort, not a campground. It's extremely well kept. As campers left, staff would mow grass, run weed eater, clean out firepits, etc. Staff was also friendly. Was easy to get to from 75. Sites are large, concrete, level. Only neg I can think of, you can hear traffic from 75, trains going by, kept wife awake, it was Oct, it was hot, pool was shut down, not much to do. Be nice if they had free miniature golf at least. Park is expensive, pull thru was $3.00 more. If you don't clean up after your pet they charge $50 if they have to do it. If you have a tent they want it moved every 2 days so it doesn't kill the grass, also, no rugs for same reason.

Gary Heffner

Yellowstone Golf Resort at Aspen Acres RV Park

Yellowstone Golf Resort at Aspen Acres RV Park, Ashton, ID -- Very quiet, peaceful RV park in the middle of aspen trees. The sites are nicely spaced so we did not feel squeezed in like other parks. Very nice friendly folks that manage the place. We definitely will stay there again if we are in the area.

Duane & jeanette Shortridge

Cypress Landing RV Park

Cypress Landing RV Park, Dozier, AL -- Great place Great people. I don't think I have ever had such great treatment. While I was there they had a shrimp boil. I think it was more for employees but I happened to walk in and was invited to join ordered to join in on the feast. The fishing is great also and they have their own private dock with fuel so bring your boat and stay a while. I'm from Colorado and have stayed at many RV sites around the country and this one is the best. I will be back.
