The Hitchin Post Corral and Campground

The Hitchin Post Corral and Campground, Cottondale, FL -- What a surprise! The proprietors, John & Vonda were there to greet us before we stopped the rig. The entrance and roads are newly paved and they are constantly leveling the pads. Grounds are landscaped and decorated. Wi-fi is great. Nice walking trail and fishing pond. Easy in and out from I-10. There are no restrooms or showers. Water quality is great. We'll be sure to visit here again.

Yaya's Lake Seminole RV Park

Yaya's Lake Seminole RV Park, Bainbridge, GA -- We stayed at Yaya's for the month of January 2018. The park is in a lovely area, and even though it was still kind of cold and things hadn't started to bloom yet, it was so serene. Sherrie and the Yaya's crew were all so very nice and helpful - anything they had pretty much, was yours to use. Lake Seminole is a gorgeous lake with lots of landing areas, giving lots of info on the local wildlife. We visited Florida State Cavern Park which is just miles from Yaya's. When weather got nicer, we had some cook-outs around the bon-fire. Loved this area and the staff at Yaya's - will definitely stop back by, whenever in the area.

Lazy Llama Campground

Lazy Llama Campground, Chuckey, TN -- 29 April - 6 May 2018 | We are a little hesitant to write comments on the Lazy Llama Campground primarily because we want to come back frequently and we are concerned that when the word gets out about this camp finding an empty site is going to be extremely difficult. Jerry and Carolyn are two of the most gracious individuals we have ever met. Friendly, knowledgeable, generous people only begins to describe the owners of Lazy Llama. If Jerry is not working on the campground he is volunteering to support the local children baseball games or the local theatre and working the Llama farm. I do not know how he finds the time to do all of the things he accomplishes in a day. No matter how busy he was he always stopped to chat when we met him during the day. Carolyn works at the high school all week, works in and around the campground after work, teaches classes on Saturday, volunteers in the local community and works the Llama farm. The farm currently has 42 Llamas including 3 about 6 months old. Jerry provided a tour of the farm and introduced us to all of the animals to include 2 donkeys, a miniature horse, 2 Emus and the family cats. A wonderful day. The camp has 31 level sites with 6 pull through sites, one of those easily accommodated our 45ft rig and our Jeep Wrangler. We could have put two 45ft rigs on the site. The lots were level gravel and provided sewer, 50amp and water. We also had real WI-FI with a strong signal that worked from day one through our entire week stay. The camp is easy to access and the surrounding area is beautiful with lots of things to do and see. One of our many experiences included a Story Telling presentation in the oldest town in Tennessee, Jonesborough. A wonderful town and an experience we had not encountered before. The list goes on and on. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the entire time from arrival to departure. A wonderful place with wonderful people. We will return at our first opportunity. -John and Barbara McCombs

Oasis Palms RV Park

Oasis Palms RV Park, Oasis / Thermal, CA -- I stayed here for a couple of months over the winter. Lots of space. Mike and his staff are extremely helpful. Happy Hour at 5:00 pm. Movies on Saturday night. Poker on Fridays. About 25 miles south of Palm Springs by the Salton Sea. Crowded in late April/early May with the Coachella and Stagecoach festival goers. Well worth a visit.

Feathered Camp'N Acres

Feathered Camp'N Acres, Washington, GA -- Stayed only one night. Came in early and was greeted by the owner with a smile. A small but very quiet campground located on a less traveled good two lane road. Would not hesitate to book again. Thanx Donna

Cain's Creekside RV Park

Cain's Creekside RV Park, Hahira, GA -- Well I thought it's about time I pitch in and have my say about Cain's Riverside RV Park. Wife and I have been stopping here going and coming from Florida shortly after Rod, that's Justin's dad started this campground. It has always been like coming in and seeing part of the family. You just will not find any better people than the Cain's. I'm glad to see Justin is just a big O country boy just like his dad. They will help you any way they can, they are that kind of people. You will get a good nights sleep this is an extra quiet campground.

Lazy Llama Campground

Lazy Llama Campground, Chuckey, TN -- We had a wonderful stay at the Lazy Llama. The sites are big, gravel and level. We have a 40 foot toy hauler and there was plenty of room. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The location is quiet, country setting. You can see the llamas grazing in the pasture next door. The site has been completely revamped in the last year, so if you look it up on Google maps, you will probably see an old trailer park. Don't panic, it looks nothing like that now. Everything is clean and new. We planned to stay 3 nights, and extended it to a week. I would definitely recommend the Lazy Llama Campground.

Camp Mi Casa on the Route RV Park

Camp Mi Casa on the Route RV Park, Carthage, MO -- This place is fantastic. The owners work hard to keep the place looking great. It is very clean, well maintained. I would give it a "10".

Ed Schumacher

Grizzly's RV Park

Grizzly's RV Park, Blytheville, AR -- This is a no frills campground - a good place to stop for the night. Pick your spot and leave payment in the locked box by the office. There are some run down trailers, but it felt safe. Roads & sites could use some gravel and leveling. All utilities worked. Restroom & laundry were clean. Grizzly was a nice guy & kept an eye on things during our stay. We stayed 6 nights waiting out the cold weather up north. Food & fuel nearby campground. Walmart & Lowes, many restaurants/stores 4-5 miles away.

Okefenokee Pastimes

Okefenokee Pastimes, Folkston, GA -- On my way to Okefenokee Pastimes, I discovered I had a serious problem with the bracket on my trailer sway bar. I managed to get it temporarily fixed and when I arrived at this campground I inquired about finding a handyman. The owner came over as I was unhitching, and removed and reinstalled the bracket and made sure it was tightened down very securely - both sides, even though the problem was with only one side! And then, he fixed my bicycle, on which I had broken a piece! I certainly never expected such service and am extremely grateful. The campground is kept very neat, the bathrooms are very clean and the showers are great. All of the people there were very nice and helpful.

Coachlight Inn & RV Park

Coachlight Inn & RV Park , Las Cruces, NM -- Coachlight Motel and RV Park is off Highway 10 at Las Cruces, NM. Very easy to find, clean and friendly. It is located behind the Motel and registration is in the Motel office. I was really pleased when we pulled in because we had stayed here before. We were only staying one night so we didn’t put out our slide although there was ample room. Pads were very level. We will save this one to our favorites ♥. 34’motorhome with tow.

Lisa Bermudez

Union City RV Park

Union City RV Park, Union City, TN -- This was a decent, no frills RV park. Sites were level with full hookups. Looks like the owner is upgrading - there is a brand new laundry/restrooms/showers. Lots of room to walk a dog. Great Wi-Fi. Lots of stores & restaurants nearby. Good place to stay for the night.

Soliel du'Coeur Park , Bandera, TX -- This is a small campground with great views 360 degrees around you. Debbie, the host, is very nice and keeps you informed of any weather problems. 7-8 deer come visit each night. It is a nice ride to Fredericksburg, TX. I would definitely come here again.

Bobcat Creek RV Park , Sayre, OK -- Wonderful, peaceful site. Large pull thru sites at very good price. We arrived after 3 very wet days from the Mississippi River area of Arkansas. Rusty's RV Ranch

Rusty's RV Ranch, Rodeo, NM -- We have been traveling, in the winter, for 17 years. Rusty's RV Ranch, near Rodeo, N Mexico, is the neatest, nicest and most interesting place that we've ever stayed. The hostess was so friendly, the prices are reasonable, the gardens are weed free, the duck/swan pond is enjoyable, the bird cage is a special treat, and the place is neat and clean. The night skies and mountain views add to the atmosphere. PA should be proud to be associated with Rusty's RV.

Tohickon Family Campground

Tohickon Family Campground, Quakertown, PA -- My wife and I stayed at this wonderful camp site twice last year in June and Sept. We had a very restful time during the week and on the weekends we were greeted with the most wonderful campers one could meet. The staff were very helpful before and during our stay of three weeks. We are much looking forward to the spring to visit this site again. Thank you for having us. One more thing, please be careful if your rig is over 12' high for there is a covered bridge. You can obtain more information in their website.

Rusty's RV Ranch

Rusty's RV Ranch, Rodeo, NM -- 1/31 - Stayed at Rusty's Ranch for about a week. Very nice park and the owners were super. Fantastic views of mountains 360 degrees. Nice little dog park, a Koi pond, and pond with 2 black swans. A lot to do in the area. Took a drive to the top of the mountains, lots of hiking trails. So if in the area stop and stay at Rusty's.

Craig Cornell

Austin Lone Star RV Resort

Austin Lone Star RV Resort, Austin, TX -- Was a very nice experience. Was greeted at the gate, guided to site (which was well manicured, level, and provided adequate space). Prior to escort departing our site, he explained the easiest way to exit the park when we were ready to depart, where to put the access card for the gate, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

Lou Dewaele

Trails West RV Park

Trails West RV Park, Shelby, MT -- After picking up our new-to-us motorhome in Calgary, we headed south in a November in a snow storm. We called ahead to Trails West, first to make sure they were open, and then to see if they could accommodate our needs. The motor home had already been winterized and since we were headed down south to home, we didn’t want to undo what had been done. We asked for a site next to the bath house and told them we were in transit and only needed the one night. It was after 18:00 by the time we arrived and we were met with open arms. We got a site right next to the very clean bathhouse with wonderful HOT water for a long well deserved shower. And was a pull through easy in and out. We look forward to visiting Trails West in the summer to fully take advantage of the facilities and again meet the wonderful park owners.

The Hitchin Post Corral and Campground

The Hitchin Post Corral and Campground, Cottondale, FL -- This is the best small campground we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The owners are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Before you can get stopped, they’re out to greet you. Vonda takes you to your site and puts out a mat at your steps. We were here last year the same week and the grass was nice and green. They had temps in the 20’s last week and their flowers and grass paid the price. If you’re traveling I-10 this should be your overnight stop or do as we’re doing take some time off and spend a couple or more nights here.

William Hunt

Cal-Nev-Ari RV Park

Cal-Nev-Ari RV Park, Cal Nev Ari, NV -- This is a really nice, quiet campground, plenty of space between RVs. We stayed here two nights and used the park to go to Laughlin. Very close to Casinos.

Harold Jones

Angels in Goliad RV Park

Angels in Goliad RV Park, Goliad, TX -- Exceptional Campground. Staff was very professional and friendly. Nice and quiet. Stayed there for a month and Passport discount was valid the entire time. WIFI and Cable reception was very good and the sites long enough to unhook and be able to park either behind or in front of my rig. I stayed in a 32ft travel trailer. Easy access to both the park entrance and pull thru site. I rate this campground as a 5 stars.

Tj Hunter

Crossroads Travel Park

Crossroads Travel Park, Perry, GA -- We stopped here for an overnight on our way home. Nothing fancy, but well-kept grounds and nice hosts. Our pull-thru site was just long enough for our 32ft. plus tow, longer rigs had to disconnect or hang into road a bit. It was very level. The sewer is on the back of the site, so you might need an extension hose if your dump is mid-rig. We made it without an extension. The bath house was clean, but old, and the showers were small - I was glad I have a shower in the RV. The laundry was adequate and reasonably priced. There are long-term renters, but their lots were not cluttered with a bunch of junk. For the PA price, it was a good deal and we would stay here again.

Ann Smith

Hat Creek RV Park

Hat Creek RV Park, Big Spring, TX -- Nice little up and coming RV park. Currently trending to extended stay RV's and travel trailers, but over nights are also welcomed. Currently constructing showers and a store. Looks like it could be an outstanding place once it is finished. Easy on and easy off the Interstate. Very pleasant and accommodating park manager. Currently no wireless WiFi but that is also in the planning. We will probably check back in with them in the future.

Thomas Myers

Twin Oaks RV Park

Twin Oaks RV Park, Perry/ Elko, GA -- This is a great place to visit for a few days or as a stop while passing thru the area. The discount is good for 2 nights. The folks are great and the sites are good too!

Ray Batiato

Wagon Train RV Park

Wagon Train RV Park , Canton, TX -- We stay here every time on our way thru the Dallas area. The park is always clean and has level sites. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Easy off and on interstate 20. Quiet, far enough from the interstate that you do not have road noise.

Mickey Mcdonald

The Scenic Road RV Park

The Scenic Road RV Park, Quartzsite, AZ -- The management is very nice and helpful. The park is well laid out with plenty of room to maneuver large rigs (from observation of others as they came and went - we only have a 30 foot travel trailer towed by a pickup. The park is well situated for access to all that Quartzite has to offer - and I was very pleasantly surprised at how much of interest is here. My one complaint is that driveways are all loose gravel - OK for truck and trailer tires, but difficult for bicycle size tires. I ride a trike and in the future I'll check for pavement before signing into an RV park. I recommend this park for non bike/trike travelers and vacationers.

Sam Crabtree

The Trails at Lavender Road RV Park

The Trails at Lavender Road RV Park , Tyler, TX -- Very nice and convenient location, right beside I-20. Get out and get in quickly, no time waste for travellers. Trees and topography make it rather quiet, we slept very well and did not hear traffic noise. It is a recent campground still in development, restrooms and showers are extra clean. Host very kind, always ready to help and assist you. We highly recommend Trail at Lavender RV Park. We camp there for one night, in November 2017.

Normand Forest

Pea Patch RV Park

Pea Patch RV Park, Branson, MO -- Sept 2017 New Owners! This RV Park is STILL Branson's best kept secret, perhaps too secret? There is excellent value here, right in the center of Branson, one street off the strip, with good level drive-thru or back in sites, picnic tables available, all sites FHU. Good clean restrooms and laundry and friendly helpful owners, discount show tickets available, walk to many restaurants and shows - what more would you need?

Golden Pines RV Resort and Campground

Golden Pines RV Resort and Campground, Camp Connell, CA -- This is a great campground if you want to be near lakes and golf courses. It's beautiful set right off the HWY and easy to get to. Kathleen Fritz

Big Spruce RV Park

Big Spruce RV Park, Tillamook, OR -- We've been coming to Big spruce for about 10 years now. Although it's campsites are a bit smaller, facilities are "seasoned", the staff, their attitude and desire to please the customers is 5 star service. If you need a nut or a bolt, information, crab boil you name it,....they're on top of it. The facilities are always serviced and cleaned daily. Zac and Shorty will make your stay a memorable visit. Come back a time or two and you will be adopted and invited to almost nightly pot lucks, appetizer treats, pig roasts, and of course a cocktail or two.

James Olsen

Cypress Landing RV Park

Cypress Landing RV Park, Dozier, AL -- The MOST compassionate caring campground ever! We are from Fort Myers FL and had to evacuate from Fort Myers, FL due to Hurricane Irma. We were lucky to get a spot in this awesome campground! They even grilled the campers hamburger and hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad and desserts, ALL FOR FREE! They are great and SO appreciated! Thank you beyond words!

Greg Foos

A-Okay RV Park

A-Okay RV Park , Dothan, AL -- Very nice spot to spend a few days while visiting Dothan AL. The owners of the park are hands on and it appears they work 24/7. We booked a spot on the blind while running away from our home in Central Florida during the advent of Hurricane Irma on Sept 6th 2017. These guys did a super job in accommodating as many RVs at they could during this very trying period. In spite of the park being jammed full, everything in the park worked perfectly. The park is situated on a working 100 acre farm which is owned and operated by the park owners/ managers. They have a nice walking trail which covers about half the 100 acres through the woods. There are ducks and chickens to feed as well a cattle to view. All in all it was a pleasant experience considering the drama currently going on in the State of Florida. Sites are fairly level and the owner even came over to assist in putting a couple of two by sixes under the tires to make it perfectly level. Great people, nice campground.
